There is no one mold for the ideal KKR Capstone candidate, but there are a few traits that seem universal among our team. Fundamentally, every KKR Capstone executive has a passion and talent for helping our deal teams identify and select high-quality investments and for assisting management teams to diagnose and implement solutions that create value. Additionally, we seek individuals with a real “nose for the money” – an innate capability to identify and judge value, those who can teach and coach portfolio company executives and individuals who have the confidence to state their point of view.

Capstone Alumni
The Capstone experience creates unparalleled career optionality. Our team members can rise within KKR Capstone, find opportunities within the broader KKR firm, or take senior operating roles inside and outside the KKR portfolio where the brand and experience carry tremendous weight. We have a strong track record of supporting interested Capstone executives land in important line operating roles (including at the operational helm of large companies as well as more entrepreneurial ventures). Roughly two-thirds of Capstone team members that have moved into company operating positions in the last 5 years are in C-level or President roles.
